[Useful Modification] Brompton quick releas front bag carrier BromGo! An intensive function program for the Carrier Block!
The Brompton’s front bag carrier block has quite a successful design,
Simple design… but can also be called a classic model!
So that any user doesn’t need to hold onto a big bag, you can simply snap it on the bike and ride along,
British graceful style spontaneously appears!
Besides, just looking at Brompton’s stock selection, you have plenty to choose from!
You can choose plenty of sizes, fabrics and designs (it’s almost madness!).
You need this accessory! In Taiwan we nickname this part the “Hug Nose” Carrier Block！
However…for the perfection seeking eyes of the BIKEfun R&D team,
We learned that the carrier block looks, and operation are a bit rough, there is space for improvement!
BIKEfun spent months designing this part,
We even 3D printed some prototypes to make sure that the angles and proportions are correct.
The beautiful outcome, is this product called BromGo!
The BromGo! Carrier Block has three special features:
1. A lightweight Monoblock alloy body with a premium design.
2. Double sided release lever, to make it easier during use.
3. You can install a GoPro adapter, allowing you to record your rides or even install a front light.

This carrier block is only for the original Brompton bag’s cage. Before you order please notice non-original Brompton bag’s cage is not sure to match.
From the front you can see the Monoblock body, simple and beautiful, tighten the two screws to complete the installation!
Every detail on the cuts held to a high standard of implementation, we do it as a tribute to Apple’s metal finish.
Taking Brompton’s original location as a benchmark,
We raised the block by 5mm, that way it won’t collide with the dynamo-powered head light, you won’t have to lower the tilt of the head lamp!
The BromGo! Has a new design incorporated: an extended trigger!
Before developing, at BIKEfun we discussed for quite a while, because we had to make a choice.
Should we make it super light (10-20g)?
Or have a structure that facilitates the use of the bag?
In the end, we thought that this product most remain true to its intended purpose: convenience!
You don’t need to look for the hole in the release lever, now you can gently pull the trigger and release!
At the same time BIKEfun designed a GoPro mount for the BromGo!
You also tighten to screws and presto! Now you can start filming your life!
Of course, after designing this GoPro mount, it is up to you how you use it,
If you often commute in the city, you can use a sports camera as “dash cam”,
The difference between installing a GoPro here and on the handlebar is:
Perspective and Stability!
Installing the camera on the handlebar of the Brompton, will give you a higher point of view,
but will result in much more vibrations:
After installing, the same camera, the same route with the rider, converted in this position:
On the video, the stability has improved a lot!
However, in this example we tilted the camera too much, our bad!
We have tried many combinations of bags with the GoPro extended mount, and so far,
we haven’t found any instance where they get on each other’s way!
If you want to record for extended periods of time,
you can place a portable charger in your front bag and pull cable to power your camera,
now you can record long travels!
If placing a sports camera on your Brompton… is not your priority,
It doesn’t matter! You are certain to need a front light!
You only need the TRP1545 adapter, and you can install most medium and small headlights!
